Bora Bora Lagoon Resort

Located on the island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is an unusual, but exciting destination for a beach vacation. The resort actually sits on a portion of a primeval volcano called “Motu Toopua”. Here’s hoping that volcano REMAINS primeval!

With 72 bungalows—all different in one way or another—three “Motu suites” (one-bedroom units) and a villa containing two bedrooms and boasts traditional pieces of furniture, one should have no problem finding a place to stay at the resort. The problem will be deciding between a unique bungalow, one of the three suites, or the villa.

Bora BoraNo tropical resort is complete without the usual complement of water sports and activities, and Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is no exception. Vacationers can enjoy anything from scuba diving below the waters to flying on top of the water on a jet ski.

One very special attraction, however is a “lagoonarium”. Visitors to this amazing aquarium can actually swim with numerous species of fish, and explore underwater caves boasting natural decorations provided by many-hued gardens formed from coral. This would certainly be a most beautiful excursion.

After a day exploring the island and its many fabulous vistas, what better way to end it than by taking a dip in the 160’ swimming pool? No need to worry about bumping into anyone while swimming, there’s room for all.

After the day’s adventures, a refreshing dip, and some “sprucing up” it’s time to enjoy a fabulous meal at one of the resort’s restaurants. Visitors can enjoy a dining experience as exciting and memorable as the places and things they have seen that day.

The resort’s fitness center is there to alleviate the guilt that might have come from over-indulgence, or to allow one to maintain their workout schedule on the up-to-date machines and equipment. Personal trainers are also available to give one-on-one advice, encouragement, and instruction.
